Cabbage Roll Casserole

Ingredients:
1 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Chopped Onion
1/2 lb - 1lb Lean Hamburger
2 1/2 cups Shredded Cabbage
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
1 Jar Spaghetti Sauce

Directions:
Steam shredded cabbage in microwave safe bowl about 10 minutes
In large frying pan sauté onion in butter
Add hamburger and cook until browned. 
Spoon some spaghetti sauce onto the bottom of a casserole dish
Place 1 cup of cabbage in bottom
Cover with meat mixture
Top with Remaining Cabbage
Add Salt and Pepper
Pour remaining spaghetti sauce over casserole
Cover and bake at 350 for about 30 Minutes or until cabbage is fully cooked.
(If using unsteamed/raw cabbage cook about 1 1/2 hr)


Serve over a bed of Rice with veggies and dip on the side!


Notes:
I used about six cups of cabbage, two jars of spaghetti sauce, half a medium sized onion, and salt and pepper to taste.  I had about 1 1/2 lbs of hamburger on hand which didn't seem like enough  (more cabbage to hamburger ratio) so next time I would use more meat.  I cooked one pan for dinner and the other two went into the freezer uncooked for a quick freezer meal.
