Low Carb Cheese Biscuits


Ingredients:

2 cups almond flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups shredded marble cheddar cheese
4 eggs
1/4 cup half and half cream (10%)

Directions: 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine almond flour and baking powder in large bowl.
Mix in cheddar cheese by hand.
Create a small well in the middle of the bowl.
Add eggs and half and half to the centre
Use a fork to blend in the flour mixture until a sticky batter forms.
Drop 8 portions of the batter on the baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven until golden about 20 minutes.


Notes: These are surprisingly good but they do have an eggy taste.  They are fantastic toasted and topped with black forest ham.   Would probably also taste great if they were topped with garlic butter while still warm.
